Is the WT SLOW-ly Changing the importance of the Door to Door preaching work to something more profitable?

its been a couple of weeks since a new c.o.

They need money so I agree property development and sales is where the big money is.

Also, for every hour spent with a trolley or on d2d is an hour not making money in a secular job to be able to donate to the society. This attitude of working part-time in order to spend more time on the ministry and pioneer I believe will be "adjusted" although it will be a loving provision that full-time work will become a blessing.

I think there has to be a push for the donations from those still in to increase as any-one not JW would not give their hard-earned cash to a a cult.

A new book used to be a million dollar best seller as 7 million were needed upon release but with downloads which can be shared even that avenue of revenue will be gone soon.

There are not many options left for them and with increasing lawsuits for paedophilia and subsequent massive payouts I have a hope for their demise within a generation or perhaps no more than one overlapping one.

Did anyone learn the truth from having their prayers answered by a knock at the door and then eventually leave the JWs?

i know of one person who had a difficult life, prayed for help, got the knock at the door, got baptized and eventually left the jws believing they were a cult.. has this happened to any of you?

and if so, did you still feel your prayers were answered at that time?.

I no longer believe in God but I do believe in coincidences.

I was a depressed and struggling single Mum. The witness that knocked on my door knew me as a child when I lived in Norway as my dad was his boss when they were both serving in the British Royal Navy in Oslo.

I thought it was a sign as I had bought a Bible only that week and was struggling to comprehend the rubbish I was reading. Brothers having sex with their sisters, daughters with their father!

I was convinced by them back then in 1984 but woke up 2009.

Without Ray Franz book Crisis Of Conscience how many of us would be out the JW programme but still living with the guilt and fear?

I had so many doubts and had stopped going to meetings but was still researching and still believing a lot of it.

Then I read Crisis Of Conscience. That was when I became fully able to let go the words of those men in America who had controlled my thoughts, my emotions, my behaviour and the information I badly needed to be truly free of their control I was now no longer too afraid to read.

He did the best thing he could at that time to make amends. He wrote a book exposing the practices behind the curtain so the rest of us could make an informed choice and that book has helped me and many many more escape that insidious and sly and devious paedophile protecting organisation.

Geoffrey Jackson's Golden Apple watch INVESTIGATED

i went through the original footage to get a good look at the watch.. from these pictures we can probably say that it is a apple watch and that it has a golden color.

the color on the pin is black, and the band is white, grey, silvery or beige.. .

the pin is in the exact place for it to be a apple watch.. only apple watch edition have the gold color.

TV evangelisers all seem to be extremely rich and live in mansions and travel in private jets.

Teaching modesty in all things seems to be a mantra they quote but as a "do as I say not as I do" one. Hardly Christ like or leading by example.

earlier this week i bumped into a couple of jws who i recognised from the cult cart.

a few months ago i had a long conversation with him one of them and found him to be quite friendly.

he is new to the area in the years since i left.. this time he was very defensive and said he wasn't allowed to talk to me.

This attitude is sadly not just within the JW org.

My youngest daughter was lured into a van by a paedophile who was someone we had all trusted as he visited our little gated community every week delivering water.

One of my neighbour's who also happened to be a Policewoman managed to get him barred from our section but one couple stated he hadn't hurt them so they would still be letting him in to their side of estate to deliver their water.

What was also said by the Policeman was that if one of us was called "mentally diseased" to our faces that would be an offence and should be reported but calling us mentally diseased in a magazine, no.

However, the term "mentally diseased" has been removed from their latest Silver Sword Bible so I like to think perhaps we had a hand in the term being changed.

This book was being studied when I began to realise not all was as it seemed. The reader had the new version and I had the old version so the differences were glaringly obvious as I had been distracted and not taped in the "clarifications" or read them so not being "prepared" for the study got a shock and massive disappointment at how "the end" was no longer as close as I had once believed.

Coupled with the day text, not sure if it was before or after the "Revelation" study but the quote was "expectation postponed was making the heart sick" and I remember thinking how sick I was of waiting for armageddon.

Then being "counselled" (told off) for helping refugee boat people and being told to only offer bible studies and not material help I started to question the Christianity in the religion.

The final straw was discovering one of elders was corrupt, a liar and a fraudster and my awakening truly began thanks to the internet.
